GOVERNOR LAMIDO EXPOSES BUHARI'S GREATEST ENEMIES

The greatest enemies of the presidential candidate of the APC, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, are chieftains of his party, this is according to Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.

The Daily Sun reports that the governor made the declaration in Abuja at the weekend, while reacting to the allegation by the APC’s presidential campaign organ­
isation’s spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, that Lamido plans to grant a radio interview to run down Gen Buhari.
He said: “They are now only using my name to make public their own feelings about Buhari, because in the North today, all those angling to be President, especially within the APC, see Buhari as their greatest obstacle, as such they need to destroy him for them to make any headway.” Lamido, further said: “ In the North today, especially in the APC, they have about three camps: Atiku, Kwankwaso and Buhari.
“Now, Kwankwaso and Atiku are already thinking that should Buhari win this election, he would have blocked their chances of giving the Presidency a shot in 2019, as such they are not happy over the development. So, they are looking for means and ways of running him down. And that is exactly what they are now doing.
“You know, because of the nature of the party and the fallout of their primaries, which was a bitter contest between Buhari
and Atiku especially, they see Buhari as a threat to their future ambitions.
“So, they set out to demonise Buhari. Don’t forget that all along they have been demonising Buhari among their followers, so, they have just revealed what is in their minds, using me as a person.
“Everything they have said, they have been saying it secretly against Buhari.
“They have only decided to use me as a conduit pipe, to make it public. They believe that they must destroy Buhari to realise their ambitions. I have every cause to fight Buhari.”
