It has been claimed that Bruce Jenner is set to say goodbye to his male persona for good Gwen he appears on a special edition of ABC's 20/20 later this month.
The Olympic gold medallist and reality TV star, who is expected to address reports that he is undergoing a gender transformation, is said to be speaking to the show's host Diane Sawyer in a two-hour one-off episode.
And it has now been further claimed byTMZ that the 65-year-old will finally bid farewell to his male self, and will 'present himself' as a woman for the first time.
But the site has stressed - after allegedly getting word from sources close to Bruce - that he will not be dressed as a female or reveal his alternative name.
For the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, it's thought to be less about his physical appearance, and more about his mental journey throughout this period of time.
It has also been claimed that he'll open up about his realisation about his gender difficulties from the age of five, in a series of pre-recorded interviews.
MailOnline has contacted a representative for Bruce Jenner and is awaiting comment.
ABC previously revealed details of the upcoming show, which is called Bruce Jenner: The Interview: it will be a two-hour programme with Sawyer, and would be 'far-ranging and exclusive'.
The revealing interview will air on Friday April 24, after months of speculation.
According to media reports, the former track and field star has told his family that he is transgender, and they are incredibly supportive of him.
Bruce, who won a gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, made headlines in February when People magazine reported that he had told his ex-wife, Kris Jenner, and his sons and daughters that he was becoming a woman.
The magazine said the family pledged their support and wanted him to be happy.
Media reports at the time said Jenner would come out as transgender during an interview with Sawyer and that he would star in a reality TV show about his transition.
Bruce was seen out at the weekend taking a motorcycle ride, covering up in heavy-duty gear amid rumours that he has recently undergone breast augmentation surgery, as reported by RadarOnline.
'Bruce had silicone breast implants put in a few weeks ago,' Radar quoted an insider. 'He went with a smaller implant because he didn't want to look ridiculous.'
When MailOnline asked his representative about the report, he replied: 'No comment'.
And on Monday, he was seen out near his home in Los Angeles wearing red polish on his fingernails, as he went for a hike.
The former Olympian has yet to officially confirm his transformation, but in recent months has been gradually changing his appearance to a more feminine form.
